Exporting your image for the web as a png

You don’t want to use a PDF for content on the web, you need a pixel-based format like PNG.

Saving as a .png file

1. `File > Save for Web.
2. If you want transparency, turn it on in the top right. You’ll be able to see the transparent parts display as a gray and white checkerboard.
3. If you need a specific width, set the width under Image size.
4. Click Save and specify a filename
