Scoop issue fix

Windows only

Scoop is for Windows users only. You'll just be using Homebrew if you're on OS X, you can skip this.

If you use Windows but haven't gotten this error, you can also skip this!

Scoop error on package install: Convert-RepositoryUri

Some people have been getting a Convert-RepositoryUri error when installing with Scoop, it looks like this:

λ scoop install wget
Updating Scoop...
Updating 'main' bucket...
 Converting 'main' bucket to git...

Scoop was updated successfully!
Couldn't find manifest for 'wget'.

This is because Scoop is broken at the moment, so it should go away soon, but there's another solution that seems to work, too. Run each of these commands below, one at a time:

First we'll remove the bucket called "main" (a bucket is a... list of things that can be installed, I think?)

scoop bucket rm main

and then we'll add it back, since it seems to be broken but maybe adding it back works

scoop bucket add main

and then install a couple tools we need

scoop install 7zip git openssh

and then see if installing wget works

scoop install wget
